The Real Verdes Football Club was established in 1976 and currently competes in the Belize Premier Football League (BPFL).
The team originated in Benque Viejo del Carmen, Belize, a small town situated on the border of Guatemala. The club is the one of the oldest active professional football teams in Belize and has been in existence since the inception of the Football Federation of Belize.
In 2004, the official club name was changed to Hankook Verdes. The home games are played at Norman Broaster Stadium.
